Mr. Hoffman is a seasoned litigator and trial attorney with more than 30 years of legal experience. He practiced in Lewis Brisbois’ Phoenix and Albuquerque offices for more than 18 years, serving as the administrative partner for the Albuquerque office during the latter part of his tenure. Less than one year ago, Mr. Hoffman joined another national law firm as the managing partner of its Albuquerque office and has now returned to Lewis Brisbois.

Mr. Cronenwett joins the firm as a partner in the Appellate and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practices, and Ms. Lopez joins as an associate in the Bankruptcy and Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practices. Both attorneys join Lewis Brisbois from a mid-size litigation firm in Dallas where Mr. Cronenwett practiced for 11 years and Ms. Lopez practiced for four years.

Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Joseph R. Englander to its Fort Lauderdale office as a partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice. Mr. Englander has been practicing law for over 20 years and has deep experience in the intellectual property (IP) space. He regularly prosecutes patents, handles trademark and copyright matters, negotiates IP transactions and licensing agreements, and manages name, image, and likeness issues. He also litigates IP cases in courts as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. In addition to his proficiency in IP law, Mr. Englander has significant experience with matters involving cannabis and agricultural regulation, as well as cryptocurrency, fintech, blockchain and aircraft issues.

Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome David Hendrix to its Tampa office as a partner in the firm’s Complex Business & Commercial Litigation and Banking & Finance Practices. With 34 years of legal experience, Mr. Hendrix joins Lewis Brisbois from GrayRobinson, where he founded the firm’s Banking & Finance Practice more than 20 years ago. Mr. Hendrix focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation – including extensive trial work – as well as banking litigation. He also regularly handles regulatory and compliance matters for financial institutions. Mr. Hendrix has tried well over 100 jury trials and has successfully represented large banks in dozens of high-exposure cases, including complex class actions.

Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Ellen Jean Winograd to its Reno office as a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice. With more than 40 years of experience in the areas of labor and employment, transportation, and business litigation defense, she joins Lewis Brisbois from Woodburn and Wedge where she practiced for 13 years. Ms. Winograd has extensive experience representing clients in federal and state courts as well as before several administrative agencies, including the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Nevada Labor Commission, and the Nevada Equal Rights Commission. The matters in which Ms. Winograd has been involved have resulted in more than a dozen published decisions.
