Mason Smith is a partner in the San Diego office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Consumer Warranty and General Liability Practices.  

Mr. Smith has both trial and appellate experience. Prior to transitioning to litigation full time, Mr. Smith started out in the appellate practice at Lewis Brisbois, where he drafted countless briefs and made numerous appearances in front of the California Court of Appeal. Since transitioning to litigation, He has drafted countless dispositive motions, including demurrers and motions for summary judgment. Mr. Smith has also tried numerous cases to verdict, each resulting in favorable results to his clients. Notably, Mr. Smith first-chaired a products liability matter and obtained a defense verdict on behalf of his client. Mr. Smith also second-chaired a neighbor dispute resulting in a defense verdict on behalf of his clients.  Mr. Smith is experienced in navigating a case from the pleading stage through trial. 

Mr. Smith also is experienced in handling consumer warranty matters, including lemon law litigation and related claims. Mr. Smith handles California lemon law for a prominent motorcycle manufacturer and frequently consuls and presents on California lemon law litigation. 

During his time in law school, Mr. Smith was a member of the California Western School of Law Appellate team, where he competed in numerous California competitions. After joining the firm, Mr. Smith volunteered his time serving as a coach for the appellate team.
