Ronald Minassian is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of Products Liability and General Liability Practices. His practice is focused on civil litigation in cases involving professional liability (architects and engineers), general liability, and products liability, including traumatic brain injury, wrongful death, personal injury, and premises liability.

Mr. Minassian has successfully litigated a variety of civil cases, defending his clients against plaintiffs who are often demanding millions in damages. Mr. Minassian has successfully garnered settlements and dismissals favorable to his clients, often against hard charging plaintiff’s counsel, and obtaining settlements for a fraction of the original demand.

Mr. Minassian is an aggressive and effective civil litigator with lifelong experience in negotiation tactics having worked in a variety of industries. He enjoys defending clients against today’s outlandish and outrageous claims and demands charged by plaintiffs. He particularly enjoys working on tough and complicated cases.

Mr. Minassian is also a California Real Estate Broker and has experience in residential real estate sales and residential and commercial mortgages. Before attending law school, he owned and managed a finance company specializing in equipment leasing and financing nationwide, and commercial and residential mortgages in California. His company financed rolling stock, including tow trucks, dump trucks, and commercial trucks; industrial machinery, including lathes and mills; printing presses and related equipment; digital large format printers; computers, including hardware and software, etc. He is experienced in all aspects of the business, including origination, credit, underwriting, analysis of taxes and financial statements, documentation, sales and management.

Mr. Minassian is also familiar with manufacturing processes, having worked in the family manufacturing business, using CAD/CAM to design, draw, and machine parts on CNC lathes and mills, which were used in roll forming equipment, tools and dies, molds, and custom-made machinery.

Mr. Minassian is a lawyer, real estate broker, and a businessman ready to utilize his vast multi-industry experience to aggressively and effectively represent his clients’ interests.
