Amanda Wintz is a partner in the San Diego office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Medical Malpractice, Healthcare, and Labor & Employment Practices. Ms. Wintz has ten years of experience in insurance defense litigation. She is licensed in California and Illinois. 

Ms. Wintz previously practiced medical malpractice litigation in Chicago, Illinois, where she defended physicians, nurses, hospitals, and long-term care facilities in complex matters. She joined Lewis Brisbois' San Diego office in 2021 where she specializes in healthcare claims such as medical malpractice and elder abuse and neglect. Ms. Wintz also handles employment disputes including employment discrimination and harassment, and wage and hour and PAGA matters.
