Jennine Gerrard Appointed Secretary of ABOTA NYC Chapter
At a ceremony on October 28, New York Trial Partner Jennine A. Gerrard was officially appointed Secretary of the New York City Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). She was welcomed into the position by fellow New York Trial Partner and outgoing ABOTA NYC President Alecia Walters-Hinds.
New York, N.Y. (October 29, 2021) - At a ceremony on October 28, New York Trial Partner Jennine A. Gerrard was officially appointed Secretary of the New York City Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). She was welcomed into the position by fellow New York Trial Partner and outgoing ABOTA NYC President Alecia Walters-Hinds.
"I'm excited to be taking on this leadership role within such an excellent organization," said Ms. Gerrard. "I look forward to continuing to advance the goals of ABOTA and working with my outstanding ABOTA colleagues."
Ms. Walters-Hinds, who also received the organization's Red Apple Award during the ceremony for her years of excellent leadership, commented on Ms. Gerrard's appointment, saying "I'm so happy for Jennine to be stepping into this role and I'm truly excited about all the great things she will do as a board member."
ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges who are dedicated to preserving the civil jury trial and educating and training trial lawyers. Ms. Gerrard is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Medical Malpractice and General Liability Practices. An experienced litigator who began her career focused in the areas of medical and dental malpractice and nursing home defense, Ms. Gerrard has successfully resolved matters of all types through negotiation, motion practice, mediation, trial, and appeal. She has been a member of ABOTA since October 2020.
