Thomas Mannion and Alecia Walters-Hinds to Participate at Magna Legal Services' March CLE Madness Conference

New York, N.Y. (March 9, 2022) – Cleveland Managing Partner Thomas P. Mannion and New York Partner Alecia Walters-Hinds will take part in Magna Legal Services' upcoming March CLE Madness Conference, hosted at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas from March 16-17. Both attorneys will moderate panels, and Ms. Walters-Hinds will participate in a mock trial.

First, on March 17 at 10:45 a.m. PT, Mr. Mannion will moderate a panel titled “My Heart, Not My Head,” where he will lead a discussion on the perspective of litigators, in-house counsel, and insurance industry claims executives about themes that work during trial. This session will cover statistics regarding the impact of emotion on jury verdicts, and the interrelation of emotion and theme. 

Then, at 4:00 p.m. PT that same day, Ms. Walters-Hinds will serve as the attorney in a mock trial session titled “Second Witness Cross-Examination and Shadow Jury Impressions.” Finally, on March 18, she will serve as moderator for one of the afternoon micro panel discussions featuring senior leadership from several insurance companies.
