Clare Cunningham Quoted in CLM Magazine Article on Women’s History Month

New York, N.Y. (March 29, 2023) – New York Partner Clare M. Cunningham was recently quoted in a Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Magazine article on the professional experiences of women within the claims industry, in celebration of Women’s History Month. 

For this piece, titled "They Believed They Could, So They Did," the publication spoke to women leaders from insurance carriers and law firms who are members of CLM about their keys to success in the profession, obstacles they have overcome, and advice to future generations of women starting their careers. Ms. Cunningham highlighted mentorship as a valuable part of her law career.   

“The keys to my success the past 21 years as a litigation attorney in New York can be linked back to my foundation growing up and being taught that I could do anything,” said Ms. Cunningham to CLM Magazine. “In addition, I am forever grateful to my mentors, both women and men, who have guided me, cheered for me, and, most importantly, did not question whether I could succeed.” 

Ms. Cunningham is a member of the General Liability, Construction, and Transportation Practices. She relies on her sharp strategic judgment and extensive experience in resolving a wide array of civil litigation matters, and has defended numerous General Liability and Construction/Labor law cases for building owners, contractors, and municipal agencies, involving personal injury and property damage claims.
