Jonathan Goins to Co-Host National Bar Association Corporate Counsel Leadership Summit

Atlanta, Ga. (July 24, 2023) – Atlanta Partner Jonathan D. Goins will once again co-host the National Bar Association’s (NBA) 15th Annual Corporate Counsel Leadership Summit on July 31, which is held in conjunction with the NBA’s 98th Annual Convention in Minneapolis, MN.

The Summit will feature prominent corporate counsel from major companies such as Amazon, Google, Medtronic, and Target – convening to discussing timely topics on DE&I efforts, career development, emerging trends such as AI and ESG, and increasing the numbers of board of directors.  The firm is also a sponsor of the 13th Annual African-American Managing Partners & General Counsel Networks Dinner.  Formed in 2010, the AAMPGC combines the talents and experiences of over 40 African-American attorneys in the U.S. who have managed an AmLaw 200 law firm office.  AAMPGC’s members are dedicated to increasing opportunities for African-American lawyers and assisting corporations and other businesses in their efforts to increase diversity and inclusion within their staffs and the outside counsel they retain.

Mr. Goins is a current board member and past General Counsel to the NBA; in 2019, he was given the NBA’s “Presidential Award” for his exemplary service to the 65,000-member organization.  Mr. Goins is Vice Chair of Lewis Brisbois' Intellectual Property & Technology and Entertainment, Media & Sports Practices. With two decades of experience, he regularly oversees litigation matters nationally involving intellectual property, technology, entertainment, and complex business disputes. Mr. Goins is consistently ranked in peer-recognitions for his expertise in IP, including Best Lawyers in America and Georgia Super Lawyers.
