Kristin Choi is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office. In addition to defending attorneys in legal malpractice actions, Ms. Choi represents other licensed professionals, ranging from insurance agents and brokers, appraisers, and accountants. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Choi defended individuals and national big-box retailers in a broad range of disputes, including but not limited to real estate/property, premises liability, personal injury, and asbestos litigation. She has extensive experience in all facets of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial. 

Ms. Choi earned her Juris Doctor in 2021 from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly known as University of California, Hastings College of the Law). She was an active board member of UC Law SF’s number one nationally-ranked Moot Court team, a national finalist at the Evan A. Evans Constitutional Moot Court Competition, and a national octofinalist at the prestigious National Moot Court Competition. Ms. Choi also served as the professional development chair for the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.

While in law school, Ms. Choi clerked for a plaintiff-side litigation firm, specializing in employment, business, and landlord-tenant disputes. She also served as an extern with the California Supreme Court Capital Central Staff.
