Candis Jones Named to Lawyers of Color’s Inaugural Wonderful Women List

Atlanta, Ga. (July 31, 2023) - Atlanta Partner Candis R. Jones was recently named to the Lawyers of Color (LoC) inaugural “Wonderful Women” list.  

This list by the nonprofit organization recognizes dynamic women attorneys who have shown promise in their careers and demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession. Ms. Jones was recognized at a ceremony in Atlanta on July 19, 2023, which featured special guest speaker United States District Judge Eleanor L. Ross. 

“It’s an honor to be recognized by Lawyers of Color,” said Ms. Jones. “This was the first organization to recognize my potential as a young attorney, so to be named to LoC’s “Wonderful Women” List is definitely a full circle moment.” 

Ms. Jones is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability Practice. Representing a wide array of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, and a major metropolitan transit authority, she focuses her practice on insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, and medical malpractice. Earlier this year, she was named to Atlanta Magazine’s 2023 “Atlanta 500” list of the most powerful law professionals for the third year in a row.
