Cary Mullen is a partner in the Orange County office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability, Consumer Warranty, and Products Liability Practices. He specializes in consumer warranty litigation and product liability litigation with an emphasis on the automotive industry, including litigation and trial practice for lemon law claims, consumer protection statute violations, and tort claims, and has successfully tried to verdict consumer warranty lemon law claims.

Mr. Mullen’s experience includes successful defense of claims involving automobiles, motorcycles, motor homes and other consumer goods against manufacturers, distributors, insurance and finance entities, and retail dealers, including claims for dealer fraud and false advertising. He has defended product liability cases involving motor vehicle accidents and construction site accidents with claims against multiple entities, including claims for negligence, strict liability, personal injury, loss of consortium, and wrongful death.  

Mr. Mullen also has extensive experience resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution. Prior to law school, Mr. Mullen was a due process administrator for a large public school district where he successfully negotiated resolution of hundreds of cases with claims for deprivation of due process brought by families of special education students.
