Michael K. Gore is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices of Lewis Brisbois. He is a trial lawyer who defends clients throughout Florida in both state and federal courts. His practice focuses primarily on professional liability litigation, including cases of legal and medical malpractice;  general liability, including transportation-related claims and premises liability, and commercial litigation and third-party practice. Mr. Gore also has experience with construction defect, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act claims. 

Mr. Gore has successfully prepared and tried multi-million-dollar cases in several venues, including preparing and responding to motions in limine, preparing jury instructions and verdict forms, and preparing witness and exhibit lists. Pre-trial, he is involved with all aspects of litigation, from initial case review to responding to complaints, discovery, and preparing and responding to motions for summary judgment, motions for sanctions based on fraud, and motions to dismiss. He also has extensive deposition experience, deposing fact and expert witnesses, which he uses to carry out his aggressive style of cross-examination at trial.
