Lena Giangrosso Accepted as Attorney Member on Louisiana Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee
New Orleans Partner Lena Giangrosso was recently accepted as an attorney member of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board (LADB) Hearing Committee.
New Orleans, La. (January 3, 2024) – New Orleans Partner Lena Giangrosso was recently accepted as an attorney member of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board (LADB) Hearing Committee.
The Board administers the state’s attorney discipline and disability system, investigating complaints of ethical misconduct by lawyers and making recommendations to the Louisiana Supreme Court when discipline is warranted. To pursue this mission, the Board utilizes 50 Hearing Committees around the state, each of which consists of two attorney members and one member of the public.
Ms. Giangrosso was previously a member of the Committee but had to rotate off and is now re-joining for her third term. Additionally, in August, Lena started her fifth year as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Tulane University School of Law, teaching trial skills, including opening and closing statements, direct- and cross-exam, and exhibit use, among other topics, to Tulane students, as one of a selection of local trial attorneys and judges.
A member of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability Practice, Ms. Giangrosso has 15 years of experience handling all aspects of litigation in a broad range of areas including general liability, maritime, workers compensation, medical malpractice, transportation, construction, and property damage cases in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
