Leonard H. Franco Jr. is a senior associate in the Newark office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Banking & Finance and Consumer Financial Services Practices. Mr. Franco started his career as a Law Clerk for The Honorable Lawrence P. DeBello in Hudson County in the Special Civil Part and Landlord/Tenant Division. Mr. Franco focuses his practice on Creditors' Rights litigation, Fair Debt Collection Practices, Regulation F, Civil Judgment Enforcement, Corporate Legal Compliance Landlord/Tenant litigation including recovery of past rents and general litigation matters. He also handles Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Regulation Z defense. Mr. Franco has extensive experience representing banks, credit card services companies, financial service companies, debt buyers and landlords in a variety of matters in state court, alternative dispute resolution, and arbitration. Mr. Franco is a graduate of Rutgers University - New Brunswick and Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
