Matt Sachaj is a litigator and associate in the Chicago office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. He has experience representing companies in a wide range of commercial and labor and employment claims. He also defends companies against claims brought under the Illinois Biometric Information Act (BIPA).
Matt also has experience representing clients in complex business & commercial litigation, government investigations & white collar defense, securities litigation, products liability, aviation, data privacy & cybersecurity, immigration, trade secrets & non-compete disputes, and criminal defense.
Matt received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School. While in law school, he was on the Notre Dame Moot Court Board and Showcase Team, where he placed as a semifinalist at William & Mary Law School’s moot court tournament and was the Symposium Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation.
Prior to attending law school, Matt attended Northwestern University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He was involved in student government and received the Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship. As an Evans Scholar, Matt caddied for several professional golfers on the PGA Tour in the BMW Championship Pro-Am.
