Eric Krauss is a partner in the Madison County office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Asbestos Litigation, Toxic Tort & Enviromental Litigation, and Talc Litigation Practices.

Eric advocates for business clients in premises and product liability cases that allege exposure to asbestos, benzene, and industrial chemicals. A seasoned litigator, Eric excels at managing cases of national scope. As a significant part of his practice, he prosecutes and defends depositions of fact and expert witnesses in mass tort claims related to toxic exposures. He also advises clients on construction litigation and commercial disputes, as well as representing both insurance companies and insureds faced with complex insurance coverage issues.

Eric conducted his first jury trial and argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals within his first year of practice over 25 years ago. He has since appeared before state and federal courts, administrative bodies, and arbitral panels throughout Missouri and Illinois. Having worked in-house at a large insurance carrier and at law firms of all sizes, from those with an international presence to small boutiques, Eric offers clients personal focus as well as familiarity with cost effective processes and collaborative resources afforded by a national practice. Clients appreciate his ease in building rapport no matter what the environment.

Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Eric served as managing partner of the Madison County, Illinois, office of a Chicago-based toxic tort and general liability defense firm.
