Born and raised on the east coast, Josh graduated from West Virginia University College of Law and West Virginia University’s School of Medicine where he earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. After law school, Josh went on to work with one of West Virginia’s top regional law firms for approximately 10 years where he specialized in workplace liability cases, products liability for car manufacturers, and large toxic tort cases. Josh gained valuable experience litigating in both state and federal court; he authored multiple winning briefs to the state’s highest court, including Young v. Apogee Coal Co., LLC, which essentially rewrote deliberate intent law in West Virginia. Josh took a 4-year break from practicing law while he practiced physical therapy. He then joined a local insurance defense firm before joining Lewis Brisbois as a partner. Josh is currently a licensed Physical Therapist and Attorney in the state of Washington. He considers himself a fitness enthusiast with a passion for road cycling, trail running, and kettlebells.
