Megan Le is a partner in the Salt Lake City office of Lewis Brisbois, specializing in employment law, products liability, construction defects, and professional liability. With over 20 years of litigation experience, she has represented clients in federal and state courts in various matters, including construction defects, commercial liability, professional liability, product liability, property damage, New York Labor Law, premises liability, wrongful death, false arrest, assault, battery, negligent security, and constitutional rights.
Megan is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients efficiently. She excels in driving settlements and securing case dismissals through dispositive motions. Additionally, she has successfully resolved numerous matters through mediation and arbitration.
Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Megan represented U.S. victims of terrorism in federal courts under the terrorism exception to the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.
During her law studies, Megan completed externships with New York City’s Legal Aid Society, Capital Division, and the Judge Advocate General Corps. She also interned with the presiding judge of the criminal division of New Jersey’s Superior Court, Bergen County. Megan served as the managing editor of St. John’s New York International Law Review and received the CALI “Excellence for the Future” top student award in constitutional law. She was also a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and an octa-finalist in the National Moot Court Labor and Employment Law Competition.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys skiing, running, hiking, and traveling.

- Obtained a default judgment in the amount of $226,836,928.64 in compensatory damages for victims of terrorism, plus an award of $900,000,000 in punitive damages, Cain v. The Syrian Arab Republic, 5:20-CV-230 (E.D.N.C. May 30, 2023).
- Successfully helped defend a client against a breach of contract claim in a JAMS arbitration, Berkley Research Group, LLC v. NGBS Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (2019).
- Obtained dismissal of state and federal court Complaints on behalf of M. Cristo, Inc. in cases involving allegations of trespass, negligence, violation of constitutional rights and conspiracy, Nadia Ferran et al. v. The City of Albany et al., Index No. 1413-12 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. Albany Cnty. 2015), 14:-CV-1362 (N.D.N.Y. Dec. 20, 2016).
- Obtained dismissal of a breach of contract claim, Ifeanyi Ezekwe v. Home Depot, Index No. 022896/2013 (N.Y. Civ. Court, N.Y. Cnty. 2015).
- Obtained summary judgment dismissing plaintiff’s Complaint seeking monetary damages in litigation involving allegations of negligence on behalf of Banna Strand, LLC, Ann Denham v. Lore Schlager et al., Index No. 100373/2012 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. N.Y. Cnty. 2015).
- Obtained dismissal of a Complaint seeking monetary damages in commercial litigation, Pierre DuJour et al. v. Home Depot, Index No. 072925/2015 (N.Y. Civ. Court, Kings Cnty. 2015).
- Defeated plaintiff’s motion to amend the Complaint to add Interior Const. Corp. as a direct defendant and obtained summary judgment dismissing the Third-Party Complaint on behalf of Interior Const. Corp. in litigation asserting claims for negligence and contractual indemnification, Oscar Hernandez v. NYU Hospital Center et al., Index No. 105657/2012 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. N.Y. Cnty. 2015).
- Obtained dismissal of plaintiff’s Complaint on behalf of defendants in a case involving allegations of negligence and violations of New York labor law, Juvenal Fernandez v. Evergreen Power, LLC, et al., Index No. 23069/2012 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. Bronx Cnty. 2015).
- Defeated plaintiffs’ summary judgment motion seeking to compel payment under an insurance policy on behalf of Virginia Surety Company, Inc., Vito Sacchetti et al. v. Stern Agency, Inc. et al., Index No. 301374/2007 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. Bronx Cnty. 2009).
- Defeated plaintiff’s summary judgment motion and obtained a dismissal of all claims on behalf of the defendant in litigation alleging legal malpractice, Neil Kahanovitz v. Goldweber, Lauriello and Epstein, LLP, Index No. 107950/2005 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. N.Y. Cnty. 2007).
