Amanda is an associate in the Minneapolis office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability and Toxic Tort & Environmental Practices.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Amanda practiced at a law firm in Woodbury, Minnesota where her practice was focused on insurance defense work including general liability, first and third-party property coverage, and subrogation. Amanda has defended various general liability cases including personal injury, property damage, and discrimination. Amanda continues to work as an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, assisting the next generation of lawyers and legal professionals.
During law school, Amanda was a certified student attorney which allowed her to gain valuable litigation experience at an early stage in her career. In doing so, Amanda worked as a law clerk for the Minneapolis City Attorney - Criminal Division; an expungement clerk for the Second Judicial District in Minnesota; and participated in the Native Law Impact Litigation Clinic assisting with federal court litigation on behalf of Indian tribes.
Prior to her legal career, Amanda gained extensive experience in the healthcare field and worked as an emergency medicine medical scribe, and manager and privacy officer for a medical spa in Washington State.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys baking, kayaking, true crime stories, archaeology documentaries, and traveling with family and friends. As a native Washingtonian, Amanda is taking full advantage of the unique, and diverse, culinary delights the Twin Cities has to offer.
