Bridget Wheeler is an associate in the Denver office of Lewis Brisbois focusing her practice on Labor & Employment, Section 1983 Civil Rights defense, and General Liability. Bridget is a seasoned trial litigator with extensive experience handling cases from inception through trial in both federal and state court. She has served as lead trial counsel in a variety of state and federal civil jury trials, and has handled appeals before Louisiana state courts, Louisiana federal courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Bridget was a senior attorney with the ACLU and served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Louisiana Department of Justice. She earned her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and clerked with Judges William T. Carmichael and Elizabeth Jones of the 20th Judicial District Court of the State of Louisiana after graduating.
Outside of her legal practice, Bridget is an avid épée fencer and hiker/backpacker.
