Ramzy M. Dawoud is an experienced attorney that practices within the General Liability, Transportation, Construction, Hospitality, and Medical Malpractice practice groups of Lewis Brisbois. He handles an active caseload in New York and New Jersey. 

Mr. Dawoud began his career as a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for New York City. During his tenure, Mr. Dawoud tried cases to verdict in Family Court on sensitive familial issues involving child neglect and abuse. In addition to the bench trials, he handled all aspects of his caseload including dispositive motion practice, emergency hearings, discovery, pleadings, subpoenas, and trial preparation. 

Mr. Dawoud then served as an in-house litigation attorney for a Fortune 100 insurance company. He handled a case load from inception through trial. He also routinely handled depositions, oral arguments, court appearances, Examinations Under Oath (EUO), and dispositive motion practice. 

After serving in-house, Mr. Dawoud continued his litigation experience at one of the Nation’s Oldest Law Firms. Similarly, Mr. Dawoud handled all aspects of his cases including depositions, oral arguments, court appearances, dispositive motion practice, and framed issue hearing(s). 

Mr. Dawoud is a first generation American and the first attorney within his family. He has obtained favorable decisions as a result of summary judgment motions, motions to dismiss, and bench trials. Mr. Dawoud continues to excel in utilizing his work ethic to serve his clients’ interest.
