Orange County Associate Laura Lopez will moderate a panel on the stages of corporate transactions, from the term sheet to closing, at an upcoming Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Education Committee in-person seminar on August 26 at 5:30 p.m. PT.

Orange County, Calif. (August 12, 2024) – Orange County Associate Laura Lopez will moderate a panel on the stages of corporate transactions, from the term sheet to closing, at an upcoming Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Education Committee in-person seminar on August 26 at 5:30 p.m. PT.

In this informative 60-minute session, titled "OCBAR Insights: Closing the Deal," the speakers will share their knowledge on effectively advocating for clients, securing favorable deals, and avoiding common pitfalls that could jeopardize the transaction. This program will cover topics related to mergers, acquisitions, and real estate deals. Ms. Lopez will be joined by speakers Nikole Kingston, Mark Peterson, Kathryn Turner, and Elizabeth V. Lopez of O’Melveny & Myers LLP. Dinner will be provided and CLE credits are available.

Ms. Lopez is a member of the Construction Practice, and Chair for the OCBA Health Care Law Section. She was recently featured in the OC Lawyer Magazine “Who’s Who In The OCBA” alongside Partner Matthew Cox, who serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Section.
