Lewis Brisbois Boosts Firm Leadership with COO Hire
Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Richard (“Rich”) Davis as the firm’s new chief operating officer (COO). He will provide strategic oversight over the firm’s operational departments. Leveraging his background, Rich will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, as well as designing and implementing transformational initiatives to better support our clients and internal stakeholders.
Washington, D.C. (September 3, 2024) - Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Richard (“Rich”) Davis as the firm’s new chief operating officer (COO). He will provide strategic oversight over the firm’s operational departments. Leveraging his background, Rich will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, as well as designing and implementing transformational initiatives to better support our clients and internal stakeholders.
With more than two decades of executive experience at professional services firms, Mr. Davis most recently served as COO for McGuireWoods, LLP and, prior to that, as a managing director for Navigant Consulting, Inc. He also has held senior executive positions at FTI Consulting and served as a management consultant at PwC. Throughout his career, Mr. Davis has concentrated on helping organizations grow the top line, improve margins, increase operational efficiency, and enhance firm culture.
In discussing his decision to join Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Davis explained that the firm’s loyal client base and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as the open-mindedness of the firm’s leaders, appealed to him. “I am elated to join Lewis Brisbois and work with the management team to drive the firm’s continued growth and transformation. Mr. Davis earned his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany. He also completed the Harvard Law School Leadership in Law Firms Executive Education program. Mr. Davis will be resident in Lewis Brisbois’ Washington, D.C. office. Outside of the office, Mr. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
