Michael, a partner of Lewis Brisbois, is a member its Business Practices Group and its Real Estate & Land Use and Commercial Lending Practices section, in the firm’s Tampa office. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactional and dispute matters with a focus on the purchase, sale, financing, leasing, and development of commercial real estate. Since 1989, he has effectively closed many complex real estate transactions, leases and loans for his clients. Viewed as a problem solver and trouble shooter by his peers, Michael has assisted his clients and partners through complicated real estate disputes. As a pragmatic and trusted advisor, he provides counsel to his commercial real estate investment, developer, lender, and borrower clients in connection with negotiating a range of real estate financial transactions. 

Michael understands that every transaction is unique and works closely with clients from the earliest conceptual stages, through negotiation, development and completion of their projects. He uses his extensive experience to provide creative legal solutions to complex real estate challenges. When needed, he also continues to draw on his past litigation experiences and works closely with others within Lewis Brisbois whose broad depth of resources provide his clients with access to specialized areas of practice. Michael has been Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Real Estate since 2009 and utilizes his experience and know-how to guide his clients’ transactions to closing.
