Bryan Reid Elected National Treasurer of ABOTA

San Bernardino, Calif. (October 30, 2024) - San Bernardino Partner Bryan R. Reid was elected national treasurer of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) at the ABOTA National Conference and Board Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee on October 26. He will serve a one-year term beginning January 2025.

In reflecting on his election, Mr. Reid noted, “It is quite an honor to be elected as a national officer of this highly esteemed trial lawyer organization. I am looking forward to continuing to work with my accomplished colleagues at ABOTA to promote important values throughout the legal community.”

ABOTA is an invitation-only national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges who are dedicated to preserving the civil jury trial as well as educating and training trial lawyers. Mr. Reid has previously held other leadership positions with ABOTA, including serving as an executive officer and president of Cal-ABOTA – the California and Hawaii Chapters of ABOTA – as well as president of the San Bernardino/Riverside Chapter. Notably, in September 2023, Mr. Reid and his fellow leaders of the San Bernardino/Riverside Chapter received the prestigious “Chapter of the Year” award from the organization. 

Mr. Reid is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Healthcare, Medical Malpractice, Long-Term Care, and National Trial Practices. His civil trial practice focuses on the defense of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare and long-term care professionals and organizations. Mr. Reidalso has experience litigating cases in the field of sports and recreation.
