Andrew Welch is the administrative partner in the Salt Lake City office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and Consumer Financial Services Practices.
Andrew R. Welch has extensive experience in both the litigation and transactional arenas. Andrew's clients appreciate not only his aggressive representation but his ability to understand their business needs. He's successfully litigated thousands of matters, including during his time as VP, Sr. Counsel of a major mortgage servicing company where he managed claims against banks and other financial services companies. These matters ranged from defending foreclosures, and claims relating to the FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, title issues, and CFPB and other regulatory complaints. Andrew's litigation experience also includes construction defect, products liability, and medical malpractice, including prevailing in a jury trial on claims against nurses of a regional hospital. Andrew is also skilled in mediation and ADR. He's also drafted and negotiated a variety of contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, SaaS, servicing agreements, and commercial leases.
