New York, N.Y. (November 6, 2024) – New York Partner Alecia Walters-Hinds will present on the legal defense of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at an upcoming Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) webinar on November 12 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Ms. Walters-Hinds will join an informative panel, titled “In Defense of DEI: How the Courts Are Being Used to Attack Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,” along with co-panelists Carey Bond (Lloyd’s), Gwen Gatson-Long and Caryn Siebert (Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc), and Bob Kopka (Kopka Pinkus Dolin). This event will delve into the post-Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard legal landscape, examining the rising challenges to DEI initiatives and exploring strategies for sustaining inclusive practices in light of recent lawsuits. CLE credits are available.

Ms. Walters-Hinds is a vice-chair of the firm's General Liability Practice. She specializes in handling high exposure and catastrophic injury matters in a range of practice areas, including medical malpractice, toxic tort, construction, transportation, and more. She is also the Immediate Past President of the New York City Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
