Jonathan Goins to Moderate Panel on Sports Betting at BESLA Annual Conference

Atlanta, Ga. (November 12, 2024) – Atlanta Partner Jonathan D. Goins will moderate a panel on the landscape of sports betting at the upcoming Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA) 44^th Annual Conference, hosted in San José del Cabo, Mexico on November 15 at 10:20 a.m. MT. 

This 60-minute informative session, titled “That's a Bet! Understanding the Current and Future Landscape of Sports Betting,” will cover the evolving landscape of gaming and advertising, exploring emerging opportunities and the complex challenges in today’s 24/7 gaming environment. Mr. Goins will moderate this discussion with panelists Lisa Baker Jones of Duane Morris, Angela Ball of NBCUniversal, and Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford.

Mr. Goins is a co-leader of Lewis Brisbois' Intellectual Property & Technology and Entertainment, Media & Sports Practices. He serves as lead counsel in IP litigation across the country, including in “bet the company” cases with multimillion-dollar exposures.
