Scott Bentivenga Named Membership Chair of ABOTA Illinois

Chicago, Ill. (January 7, 2025) - Chicago Partner Scott C. Bentivenga has been named membership chair of the Illinois Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Mr. Bentivenga will serve in his new leadership role for the 2025-2026 term.

ABOTA is a national, invitation-only association of experienced civil trial lawyers and judges who share the common goal of preserving the Seventh Amendment right to civil jury trials. The organization also promotes professionalism among the trial bar as well as the independence of the judiciary.

Mr. Bentivenga is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Healthcare, General Liability, and Professional Liability Practices. He has 36 years of trial experience representing doctors, hospitals, dentists, transportation/delivery companies, construction companies, product manufacturers, and property owners in personal injury and property damage cases. Throughout his career, Mr. Bentivenga has tried more than 40 cases to verdict.
