Paul Buschmann is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and Professional Liability practices.
Mr. Buschmann joined Lewis Brisbois in January of 2025. Previously he was a Senior Counsel at Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP from 2006 to 2024. He was a founding Partner of the Michaud Buschmann firm in Boca Raton from 1993 to 2005, and a Partner at the Parker Johnson Law Firm from 1987 to 1993. Mr. Buschmann began his legal career at Wicker Smith in 1982.
He is a veteran trial lawyer with hundreds of jury trials in county, state and Federal courts in Florida and Georgia. He has litigated cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, product liability bad faith, and both legal and medical malpractice claims.
Mr. Buschmann has spent his four decades of courtroom experience representing a variety of individuals, businesses and corporations in matters wherein they have been accused of wrongdoing in the civil courts.
Mr. Buschmann has also been active in all forms of mediation and arbitration, and has experience with mock trials, focus groups and advisory jury trials, and as such, he is in a position to actively advise and counsel clients on matters significant to them with an eye towards avoiding litigation whenever possible.
