Michael DeBenedetto is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois. He offers strategic guidance on general liability matters in state and federal court, assisting clients with risk management and litigation defense. He handles general liability matters that encompass commercial motor vehicles, automotive and transportation law. An efficient attorney, Mr. DeBenedetto is also adept at handling complex, multi-plaintiff cases, often involving severe injuries and takes a proactive approach to litigation and meeting the needs of clients.  In his career, he has also defended Harassment Intimidation and Bullying (HIB) and premises liability matters. Michael is a graduate of St. John’s University and the St. John’s University School of Law where he completed the accelerated BA/JD law program. He was the recipient of the Daniel A. Furlong Award for Outstanding Service and Leadership to the law school. 

Outside of practice, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, golfing and helping out his local faith community.
