New York, N.Y. (February 6, 2025) - New York Partner Nathan Sheffield served as production counsel for the new musical, Scissorhandz: A Musical Reinvented, which opened in London last week after a sold-out run in Los Angeles.
Scissorhandz, a reimagined version of Tim Burton’s 1990 movie Edward Scissorhands, includes hits from Taylor Swift, Smashing Pumpkins, and Alanis Morissette among its dozens of songs. RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage and former *NSYNC band member Lass Bass co-produced the show, which opened at Southwark Playhouse Elephant on January 30. In a recent article, The London Standard reported that “the juke box musical has something for everyone and is a celebration of powerhouse vocals and being unashamedly different. The show is also wildly hilarious.” Scissorhandz is scheduled to run in London through March 29, 2025.
