New York, N.Y. (April 2, 2025) - New York Partner Nathan Sheffield will join a panel discussion titled “Exploring New Business Models: Philanthropy in Film & Commercial Theater,” presented by Cardozo’s Entertainment Law Society and Fame Center, at Cardozo School of Law on April 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
In this 90-minute session, Mr. Sheffield will be joined by co-panelists Carolyn Casselman (Davis Wright Tremaine) and Jon-Sesrie Goff (Ford Foundation) to examine philanthropic support for social justice films and whether similar models could foster creative risk on Broadway. Moderated by Kevin O’Hora (Tungsten Philanthropic Advisory), the discussion will highlight how foundation funding is reshaping the arts.
Nathan Sheffield is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Entertainment, Media & Sports Practice. With over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Mr. Sheffield has represented a diverse array of clients, including producers, talent, and creative team members on hit television series and independent films.
