Bridget K. Sasson is a partner in the Pittsburgh office of Lewis Brisbois with an expansive knowledge of energy matters. Ms. Sasson primarily focuses her practice on resolving legal issues connected to the ownership, lease, purchase, and development of oil, gas, and other minerals throughout the region. She has significant experience advising corporations on nuanced title and leasing situations, in both transactional and litigation settings. Ms. Sasson has also handled real estate, construction and insurance defense claims, as well as prepared a wide scope of real estate transactional documents on behalf of both corporations and individuals.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sasson worked as a title abstractor with a national land management corporation. While in law school, she was a legal extern to former District Chief Administrative Law Judge Thomas M. Burke of the Department of Labor and a legal extern to Judge Dwayne D. Woodruff of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Family Division.

Representative Matters
- Prepared large scale multi-million dollar acquisition documents for oil and gas operator
- Led a team of attorneys on a due diligence project for leasehold acreage swap involving property valued at nearly $250 million
- Served as counsel in a multi-million dollar leasehold dispute and negotiated and prepared settlement agreements, including conveyance documents
- Assisted surety in obtaining demanded collateral from Indemnitors of bond issued for over $1 million
- Drafted and reviewed division order title opinions in multiple states, including units created under statutory orders
- Examined assets and prepared defect notices for time-sensitive due diligence project to support client bidding on more than 30,000 acres of fee and leasehold oil and gas acreage held in bankruptcy
