Katie LaManna is an associate attorney in the Philadelphia office of Lewis Brisbois where she focuses her practice on the defense of medical professionals, hospitals, and healthcare corporations in long-term care and medical malpractice actions. Katie has additional experience defending premises and general liability matters. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Katie began her legal career by representing clients in divorce, child custody, and domestic relations matters across the southeastern Pennsylvania counties. She also served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Chester County Office of the District Attorney, where she regularly conducted preliminary hearings on behalf of the Commonwealth.
Katie received her Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School (Widener University), where she was a 3-year recipient of the Dean’s Select Merit Scholarship. Katie was additionally the recipient of the 2022-2023 Dean Arthur A. Weeks Outstanding Student Service Award for her work as Vice President of Academics and Community Service of the Student Bar Association.
Before beginning her legal career, she received her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conversation from the University of Delaware and worked in the animal care field as a zookeeper and area supervisor at a large non-profit animal sanctuary in Texas.
