Ellen Mathis is a partner in the Kansas City office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and Labor & Employment Practices.  Ellen advises and represents employers in all aspects of employment law, from charges of discrimination through litigation in both state and federal courts. She also counsels employers on policies and practices to limit litigation. 

In addition to experience in labor and employment, Ellen has extensive experience in insurance defense and general liability matters. Ellen advises and represents clients regarding legal issues that arise during the course of their operations.

Ellen has been involved in all phases of litigation from pre-suit investigations through trial and case resolution. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ellen was a partner at a Kansas City defense firm.
