J. David Ziegler is a partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP. He concentrates his practice in complex litigation, including trucking litigation, insurance defense litigation, and insurance bad faith and coverage litigation. Mr. Ziegler has handled complex litigation cases throughout his career including trucking accidents as well as coverage issues relating to the use of commercial vehicles. Mr. Ziegler also has vast experience handling insurance defense litigation matters, with a particular emphasis in insurance bad faith litigation, professional malpractice, and insurance coverage issues. Mr. Ziegler has successfully tried jury and non-jury cases to verdict in both Pennsylvania state and federal courts. He is a member of the firm’s Transportation Group, and Insurance Law Group. Mr. Ziegler has been AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® since 2007.  He has also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouting and a rare honor received by less than five percent of all Scouts.
