Jose Carlos "J.C." Gonzalez is an associate in the Miami office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability Practice. He has experience drafting and filing legal pleadings including motions, petitions, memoranda and participating in legal proceedings, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial. 

Most recently, J.C. was an attorney at an AM100 firm in Miami, where he gained experience in commercial litigation, products liability, and subrogation. Prior to that, J.C. was a litigation associate with a boutique law firm in Miami, where he gained experience in commercial and civil litigation, contracts, tenant/landlord rights, real estate, bankruptcy, and general litigation. Lastly, J.C. was an associate at a multi-practice national law firm, where he concentrated on probate, guardianship, and trusts & estates litigation. 

J.C. earned his joint B.S. in political science and B.A. in international affairs from Florida State University. He earned his J.D. with a concentration in litigation & dispute resolution from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the International & Comparative Law Review. He is a native Spanish speaker. 

J.C. is an avid history, soccer, and mixed martial arts enthusiast. In his spare time, you can find him with his daughter/goldendoodle, Elle.
