Bette Matheny to Provide Legislative Update at NOCA Luncheon

New Orleans, La. (November 3, 2025) – New Orleans Partner Bette Matheny will give a legislative update at the upcoming New Orleans Claims Association (NOCA) Luncheon, hosted at A Tavola Restaurant & Wine Bar in Metairie, Louisiana on November 20 at 11:30 a.m. ET.

During this networking luncheon, Ms. Matheny, who is past president of both the Louisiana Claims Association (LCA) and New Orleans Claims Association (NOCA), will discuss timely legal updates within the insurance claims industry. Food will be provided.

Ms. Matheny is a member of the General Liability Practice. She has extensive experience in both federal and state court throughout Louisiana. Ms. Matheny’s primary practice areas include insurance defense and property and casualty litigation. She has defended clients in a broad range of matters including personal injury, construction litigation, first-party property disputes, insurance coverage, premises liability, and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience in first-party property matters, including hundreds of successful mediations.
