The publication named Mr. Brennecke, Ms. Czachorowski, and Mr. Pileggi top lawyers in corporate law, Mr. Cousins a top lawyer in bankruptcy law, and Ms. Barron a top lawyer in legal malpractice law.

The publication named Mr. Brennecke, Ms. Czachorowski, and Mr. Pileggi top lawyers in corporate law, Mr. Cousins a top lawyer in bankruptcy law, and Ms. Barron a top lawyer in legal malpractice law.
Delaware Today publishes a new list of top lawyers each November after polling members of the Delaware Bar on the best attorneys in dozens of practice areas.
Ms. Barron, a member of the Professional Liability, Legal Malpractice Defense, Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, Accountants Errors & Omissions, Directors & Officers Litigation, and Labor & Employment practices, is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in torts, corporate, and contract disputes. She concentrates her practice in business litigation and professional liability defense representing lawyers, accountants, and other professionals in the Court of Chancery, Superior Court, and federal courts.
Mr. Brennecke is vice-chair of the Directors & Officers Litigation Practice and a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, Corporate, and Bankruptcy & Insolvency Practices. For more than 15 years, Sean has represented corporations, alternative entities, and their respective directors, officers, shareholders, members, and managers, in complex litigation matters which frequently involve expedited proceedings and injunction practice.
Mr. Cousins, who has more than 30 years of legal experience, was recently appointed co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Bankruptcy & Insolvency Practice. He has been involved in many of the largest and most complicated business reorganizations, out of-court restructuring matters, workouts, liquidations, and distressed acquisitions and sales in Delaware’s federal and state courts, as well as in other jurisdictions across the country. Ms. Czachorowski is a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. She focuses her practice on corporate and commercial litigation. She has experience in litigating contract disputes, matters involving fiduciary duties, corporate governance, non-competition agreements, and demands for books and records. Ms. Czachorowski represents a broad range of clients, including corporations, shareholders, directors, officers, and members and managers of alternate entities.
Mr. Pileggi serves as chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Directors & Officers Litigation Practice and a member of its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice. His litigation practice emphasizes representation in high-stakes disputes of corporations, stockholders, members of boards of directors, members and managers of LLCs, and those with managerial or ownership interests in other forms of entities. He has extensive experience in matters involving fiduciary duties and corporate governance as well as summary proceedings under the Delaware General Corporation Law in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
