Mercy Obisesan is an associate in the Houston office of Lewis Brisbois. Ms. Obisesan received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Minor in Law Values & Policy from the University of Houston in 2022. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in December of 2024 and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2025.

Before joining Lewis Brisbois in December 2025, Ms. Obisesan clerked for a Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm, an Insurance Defense firm, and for the Honorable Judge Christine Weems of the 281st District Court. Ms.Obisesan is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas.

While in law school, Ms. Obisesan participated in numerous Mock Trial competitions and gained hands on knowledge about litigation. She was inducted into the Order of the Barristers in April of 2025.
