Allison Lloyd is an employment associate in Lewis Brisbois’s Los Angeles office. Allison defends employers in wage and hour matters throughout California. Her litigation practice includes defending wage and hour class actions and claims under the Private Attorney General Act (PAGA). She regularly handles claims containing allegations of meal period and rest break violations, failure to pay minimum and overtime wages, business expense reimbursements, failure to timely pay wages, failure to provide wage statements, misclassification, and unfair competition. 

Allison advises and assists employers in responding to employment records requests pursuant to Labor Code sections 226, 1198.5, and 432, helping her clients protect their interests before a lawsuit is filed.

Allison also represents employers in single plaintiff civil actions and administrative proceedings before the California Civil Rights Department, the California Department of Industrial Relations, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has experience defending employers against allegations of discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and harassment.
