Alexandra Rothstein is a partner in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and Construction Practices. Ms. Rothstein has significant experience handling construction accident litigation, general liability cases, and various complex litigation matters for large institutional clients, as well as smaller establishments and individuals. Ms. Rothstein regularly represents property developers, general contractors, construction managers, owners, municipal entities and subcontractor entities and is well-versed in New York State Labor Law. She handles cases involving large transit projects, telecommunications projects, high-rise and commercial building construction, sports arena construction, incidents that arise at recreational facilities, and incidents attendant to hotel management. She also represents restaurants, bars, and other owners and lessees of commercial space. Ms. Rothstein oversees a large team of partners, associates, and staff and manages hundreds of cases nationwide to ensure expert-level representation for each and every client. Ms. Rothstein and her team offer 24-hour incident response to ensure preservation of crucial evidence and development of essential defenses at the pre-litigation phase. She and her team meticulously investigate every incident early on and throughout the life of each case and explore every potential defense to aid in dispositive motion practice, favorable resolution, and trial strategy. Ms. Rothstein prides herself on preparedness, responsiveness, professionalism, aggressive investigation, use of novel discovery devices and dispositive motion tactics, formulating innovative defenses, and employing nuanced legal theory in support of client positions.
