Alexandra Anast is a partner in the Los Angeles and Orange County offices of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Professional Liability practice. Ms. Anast focuses her practice on defense of licensed professionals including real estate agents and brokers. Ms. Anast has significant experience obtaining judgment in favor of her clients through motions for summary judgment, and successive demurrers. Ms. Anast also has significant experience in cases arising under general liability and auto policies, including cases involving premises liability, commercial vehicles, wrongful death, products liability, and defamation. She has defended claims brought against national corporations, municipalities, transit authorities, homeowners’ associations, and school districts. Ms. Anast has experience in all aspects of pretrial and trial client representations, including mediations and arbitrations, and has played vital roles in defense teams obtaining unanimous defense jury verdicts.
