Ernest Bernabei is a partner in Lewis Brisbois' Philadelphia office. He has tried over 250 jury trials to verdict in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and on a pro hac vice basis in other states. He has also successfully handled numerous non-jury trials and binding arbitrations. Mr. Bernabei practices in the areas of professional and medical malpractice, construction, products liability, general liability, and labor and employment. He serves as trial counsel for several major national retail chains. He also acts as monitoring counsel for major litigation throughout the country.

Mr. Bernabei is often called in to participate in large exposure mediations and settlement conferences, as well as stepping in as trial counsel with local counsel in catastrophic cases. He has lectured extensively on risk management and trial strategy topics to both client groups and attorneys.

Mr. Bernabei has served as lead trial counsel in labor and employment litigation in multiple states. He also advises employers and participates in investigation in pre-suit employment practice and discrimination claims.

Mr. Bernabei also has experience in litigation involving medical devices, mass tort, and CERCLA. He most recently obtained a defense verdict before a Philadelphia jury in a medical malpractice death claim. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Philadelphia Magazine.
