Kathryn Bonorchis is a partner in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. offices of Lewis Brisbois and is based in Northern Virginia. She is a member and Vice-Chair of the General Liability Practice. She works primarily in the areas of insurance defense litigation, with a focus on personal injury, premises liability, toxic torts, commercial, construction, and products liability matters. Additionally, Kathryn handles labor and employment matters involving discrimination claims under Title VII and the D.C. Human Rights Act, as well as wage disputes, with experience advising employers on compliance and risk management. A substantial part of Kathryn’s career has included personal injury and construction litigation, including catastrophic construction site accidents that involved serious injuries and death. In the last several years, Kathryn’s practice has expanded to include mold litigation, including a putative class action case. Kathryn assists in the representation of individuals, institutional and commercial clients. Kathryn has represented landlords in actions brought by tenants in single family and apartment complexes, as well as the D.C. Office of the Attorney General. She has been involved in bench and jury trials at the state and federal level, as well as mediations and arbitration hearings. Kathryn is barred in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
