Tim is a seasoned labor and employment attorney who represents public and private sector employers in complex workplace disputes and provides strategic counsel on employment law compliance. With extensive experience managing all phases of employment litigation—from single-plaintiff cases to class and collective actions—Tim handles matters involving wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breaches of non-compete and confidentiality agreements. He regularly appears in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and National Labor Relations Board.

Tim maintains a robust practice litigating trade secrets misappropriation and restrictive covenant disputes. He represents employers in cases involving theft of confidential information, unfair competition, and enforcement of non-compete, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements. Tim has successfully obtained emergency injunctive relief to protect clients’ proprietary information and business relationships, and he counsels employers on drafting enforceable restrictive covenants that protect legitimate business interests while complying with evolving state law requirements.

Beyond the courtroom, Tim serves as a trusted advisor to employers navigating the evolving landscape of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws. His counseling practice encompasses compliance with Title VII, the ADA, Rehabilitation Act, FMLA, ADEA, GINA, NLRA, WARN Act, and FLSA as well as state and local laws, rules, and regulations. Tim conducts comprehensive compliance audits, drafts and revises employee handbooks, and provides practical guidance on discipline and termination decisions that minimize legal risk while supporting business objectives.

Recognizing that prevention is the best defense, Tim delivers engaging training programs for supervisors, HR professionals, and employees on employment law best practices, helping organizations build compliant, respectful workplaces and satisfy regulatory training requirements.
