Alexa Bradley is an associate in the Chicago office of Lewis Brisbois and is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Ms. Bradley represents businesses in all aspects of employment-related matters, including those involving discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, harassment, sexual harassment, and disability accommodation in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies. Ms. Bradley's practice additionally includes advising and counseling clients relating to employment policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Bradley practiced at a boutique law firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that specialized in civil rights and employment law. There, she gained experience litigating all types of employment-related matters, including through subsequent appeals. Ms. Bradley additionally has litigation and appellate experience in civil rights matter, specifically with respect to actions arising under 42 U.S.C. Section 1983 involving violations of the Fourth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments.
Ms. Bradley received her law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2018. While in law school, Ms. Bradley was the Treasurer of the Labor & Employment Law Society and a member of the Moot Court Association where she competed in the Robert F. Wagner National Moot Court Competition in New York. During her time at MULS, Ms. Bradley was a Dean's List recipient and obtained the award for the highest grade in her Disability Law and Civil Pretrial Practice classes.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ms. Bradley received her Bachelor of Arts in 2013 from Mercyhurst University, where she double majored in Ballet and Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuroscience, and minored in Biology. During her undergraduate years, Ms. Bradley was a member of the National Honor Societies for Dance (Nu Delta Alpha) and Psychology (Psi Chi). She was additionally a Dean's List recipient.
Ms. Bradley is admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin, as well as in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Western District of Wisconsin, Northern District of Illinois, Central District of Illinois, and Northern District of Indiana. Ms. Bradley also serves as the Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s (“CBA”) Human Rights Committee, as well as the Legislative Liaison for both the CBA’s Labor & Employment Law Committee and the Biometric Information and Privacy Law Committee.
