Amber Dawson is an Associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice Group. She primarily focuses on the defense and representation of corporations, insurance companies, and their insureds in third-party liability claims involving retail and hospitality liability including catastrophic injury claims with large exposures, condominium association law claims, pharmacy negligence, professional negligence, negligent security, automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, labor & employment law, and construction defects in both state and federal court. Amber has extensive experience defending claims from the pre-suit process through litigation with a focus on ensuring her clients are both heard and zealously defended.

Ms. Dawson ensures her clients are advised in the early stages of a case of the time, expenses, and uncertainties associated with litigation, which has led to her representation of several Fortune 500 companies, in addition to various other public agencies across all Florida counties. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Amber worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office, where she served for over three years and tried cases in the county, juvenile and felony divisions. Ms. Dawson is also an active member of the South Florida legal and business community. As the youngest member serving on the Jim Moran Youth Automotive Center's Board of Directors, Amber has dedicated her time and volunteerism to helping at-risk youth become productive members of society and enhance the safety of the local community since 2021. She is also a current member of the Broward Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Section.
