Sara Galloway is a partner in the Atlanta office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Appellate and Professional Liability Practices. With over 30 years of legal experience, she leads a team of appellate attorneys in the firm’s Atlanta location. Ms. Galloway regularly handles appellate matters that involve general liability, professional liability, premises liability, and business law issues. She also provides strategic advice to clients and trial counsel concerning trial and post-trial matters where an appellate challenge is anticipated, arguing motions and drafting briefs as necessary. In addition, Ms. Galloway has served as embedded appellate counsel, providing important trial advice to clients and preserving issues for appeal. Outside of her practice, Ms. Galloway is an active member of Lewis Brisbois’ Women’s Initiative Mentoring Program.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Galloway spent 18 years working as a staff attorney at the Georgia Court of Appeals for Judges Sara L. Doyle and John H. Ruffin, Jr. where she drafted more than 600 opinions. Before that, she worked as a staff attorney for the Business Case Division of the Fulton County Superior Court – the first division of its kind in the state – and as a staff attorney for multiple Fulton County State and Superior Court judges.
